During the October half-term holiday Friends of Crosshill hosted another popular Let’s Get Cooking events for our families.
Our families enjoyed creating scary pumpkins faces to take home and then used the contents to make wonderfully tasting pumpkin and caramel cakes. At first our families were dubious as to how the cakes would taste but with added spices, caramel and cream the cakes were a hit. So much so that one cake didn’t get home and was eaten in school.
