Our post 16 students had a fantastic time on their Duke of Edinburgh expedition.
The weather was on their side as they went geocaching around Wayoh Reservoir, using directions and clues from the map to find the hidden treasure. After map reading, games and dinner at Height Nook, it was time for bed for our tired students (and staff!).
In the morning, they travelled to Canal Side to get the canoes ready. Students had learnt how to do this in their previous sessions, so it was time to put this into practice independently. Students paddled from Feniscowles back to Canal Side - we were so proud of them for being courageous trying new things, well done all!
