Student Voice

Our School Council helps students to create positive change within their school community. It's an inclusive, structured forum for decision making, a way to raise issues and concerns, and consult all young people within Crosshill.

School council representatives are elected through a vote within their pastoral groups, which encourages democracy. All Crosshill students, irrespective of ability, race or gender are encouraged to feel valued and safe within an inclusive and caring environment.

Our student led school council helps students develop responsible attitudes and behaviour. It creates a feeling of belonging, encourages listening to others, develops self-confidence, and also improves student - teacher interaction.
